The Mustangs Team History
The Mustangs started off in div III.14 in the inogeral season of Hattrick. They were then known as team NOVA SCOTIA. Team Nova Scotia made it to the 3rd round of the Canadian Cup before being elliminated, and Placed 2nd in their league that season. But the team did not take root in Nova Scotia and after one season the team was moved to Ontario where the Commisso Group bought the team and named Rocky as the New Gm, and the Team beacme known as simply COMMISSO. Commisso had a dissapionting 1st round loss in the Cup that season and placed 3rd in div III.14. After one season the Commisso group sold the team to CanadaKid on 2/18/2002. The Team was renamed The MUSTANGS and was moved to St.Catharines Ontario. The Mustangs had a dreadful first showing in the Cup and fell again in div III.14 standings this time to 5th. CanadaKid in a bid to bring in more fans and keep the team that he had just bought, changed the team from a local St.Catharines team to a bigger market Ontario based team. But dissapointment fell upon the Mustangs once more The Mustangs were kicked out of the Canadian Cup in the 1st round, but rebounded in the standings reaching the 3rd spot in Season 4. Season 5 is known as "THE YEAR OF THE MUSTANG" it was in season 5 that CanadaKid and the Mustangs would have their best season ever! The Mustangs went to round 8 in the Canadian Cup and placed 1st in div III.14. The Mustangs were Permoted to div II.1 the following season, and were meet with stiff compitition. After going to the 6th round in the Cup that season the Mustangs placed 8th, and were demoted back down to level III compition. The Mustangs now found themsleves in a tough Div III.8 and went as far as the 5th round of the Cup and placed 7th in league play.In season 8 the Mustangs went to the 4th round of the Cup and in Season 9 the Mustangs went to 6th round, both seasons placing 3rd in III.8. The Mustangs currently went to the 6th round of the Cup and are fighting to make thier way back to the top of a tough div III.8

In The News!!!
There is talk today around the Mustangs locker room that the team may be making one last move before this season is over. Trade talks have been plentiful this season, as the Mustangs have had thier worst showing ever in III.8. The teams Owner and Gm CanadaKid made some midseason moves. Sent packing were fan Favorites LESLAW KOSIK, HAAKON ALMLI, ADRIAN ROLANDSON, RAINER RAU, ZSOLT HOLLOS AND STEWART CHALDER. The new faces in the Mustangs line up are FRIDTJOF HAMMER, JUAN ANTONIO SAN GERMAN, ZOLTAN KAULICS, HAS PLUGGE AND JENS ZACHO DANIELSEN. These moves in addition to the new tactics have lead to a reinvention of the team and produced back to back wins over one of III.8 most respected teams the Pacers.
